Say goodbye to boring slides and say hi to Prezi!!!

Before we go through with the presentation, let's me explains a little bit about Prezi. Prezi is an online, flash-based presentation creator who shares similar functionalities with other information presentation programmes such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Apple Keynotes. It is a visual learning tool which allows us to create maps of texts, images, videos, graphic and so on and present them in a nonlinear way. the menu for adding elements has a very unique navigational approach and easy to master.

Besides that, Prezi is a great tool for interactive classroom sessions or group projects. Student can cooperate in real time, in the classroom or at home to brainstorm and build a presentation on one shared virtual whiteboard.

So, for this week, we have learnt and explored about Prezi which presented by Wan Noraziean and Norshima. Quite good. Quite interesting. Quite easy to use.

Our class continued with a presentation of Mendeley Desktop by Badrulhisham. He introduced us to Mendeley that it is easy to place Pdf files and easily searchable and editable. It also allows to add sticky notes to Pdf files, the papers are kept in the cloud so we can access papers and download to multiple platforms, allows importing from other reference managers and facilitates collaboration within research groups too.
